The film was shot in 2006/2007 but released in 2009. The film took 5 years to reach box-office. I twas started in the year 2003, but differences with writer Ashwini Dheer. Later he was replaced by Bobby Khan and Nisar Akhtar. The producer had a dispute with lead actor Arshad Warsi . The shooting finally started in 2006.
