This sequel to "Gidget" uses the exact same beach, Leo Carrillo State Park, as the original. Though it's cliff and rock formations provide a dramatic background for the action, the volcanic boulders and formations out in the water would be an insane choice for surfers to try and ride safely into the shore through.
