I'm unsure of what genre to classify the movie under because it is so unique. Even if it's not a complete horror, it is scary and terrifying enough. Even though it's hardly a thriller, it grips you tightly and raises your heart rate. It moves at a slow but spellbinding pace. Its rustic environment is reminiscent of a bygone period. You keep looking, but you can't seem to discover a moral compass. Amarnath Hazarika's mind-blowing background score and Vijay Kutty's camerawork really blew me away when the movie first started. The narrative is eccentric, intensely compelling, and transports you to a totally new universe. As much as the music, the camera work, or the directing are stakeholders, so are the cast and performances. The movie is a prime example of a wonderful work of art that is utterly unique and undoubtedly not intended for viewers who do not have a taste for dark cinema.
