TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

It was intended to have Ryan Reynolds play the main character. However, scheduling conflicts with The Hitman's Bodyguard (2017) forced him to take a supporting role instead.

Rebecca Ferguson had originally turned down the part of Dr. Miranda North, the British Quarantine Officer, as she thought she would not live up to the standards of the movie. She expressed her anxiety and fear to the producer, who advised her to talk with Daniel Espinosa whose philosophy and ideas for the film impressed her enough to change her mind and take part in the movie.

It was rumoured that this film was a prequel to Venom (2018), but it was subsequently debunked.

In a TV advert, it was revealed that the film reused old b-roll footage from Spider-Man 3 (2007).

This was Skydance's first R-rated feature film.

Popular Dialogues

"David Jordan: Goodnight, nobody."

"Rory Adams: Control, if you're listening, and you probably are 'cause you're creepy that way, can I just rant for a second about the micromanagement? We're not blood-filled meat puppets. I come from a long line of plumbers that can fix a shower, but I can't. Well, Hugh doesn't shower anyway - he's British. It's not being critical, you're just a very under-bathed nation; everybody knows it."
