TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

One of the townspeople named Frank makes a reference to kidnapping the blacksmith from Army of Darkness. Timothy Patrick Quill, the actor who plays Frank, also played the blacksmith in Army of Darkness (1992). This joke is also used with the Dirt Farmer.

According to the DVD commentary, most of the Bruce Campbell memorabilia in Jeff's room was real, including a spare Brisco County Jr. costume that Campbell owned. A few fake items, such as a poster for "The Stoogitive," were made to fill up space.

The (fake) brand of liquor that Bruce gives his dog is Shemp's. In some Raimi/Campbell projects, body-doubles and stand-ins are called Fake Shemps, after Shemp Howard of the Three Stooges.

The rude man in the wheelchair was based on a real person Bruce Campbell met.

Bruce's dog is named "Sam 'n Rob", a reference to the director/producer pair of Sam Raimi & Rob Tapert, who have worked with Bruce Campbell on many projects, including the Evil Dead series and Xena, Warrior Princess.

Popular Dialogues

"Bruce Campbell: Dig up a bar of soap and a bottle of Jack. And not in that order."

"Bruce Campbell: You don't know fear, kid. You've never worked with Sam Raimi."
