Showrunner Jeff Buhler told Irish-born Eoin Macken to use an American accent but told the rest of the cast to talk with their normal accents.
This is an adaptation of a novella by George R R Martin.
Despite Eoin Macken using an American Accent, his native Irish accent occasionally slips through and can be quite noticeable at times.
Thale the telepath is referred to as an "L1" and as we find out there are different 'L' levels but the "L" designation is not really explained.
Both Eoin Macken and Miranda Raison appeared in Merlin (2008), as Sir Gwaine and Isolde respectively.
