Actress Jillian McWhirter, who plays Sherry, said in interview how the scene where she gets raped by giant alien monster was shot but then due to some problems it had to be re-shot two different times. This is why the scene is so short in the movie. Originally the scene was meant to be longer, the alien monster was gonna try and calm Sherry down by fondling her nude body with its tentacles while holding her (just like other aliens did in earlier scenes), and part where it rapes her was also gonna be longer and more graphic. Three still photos showing McWhirter filming the original version of the scene in different location than it happens in the movie and while covered with slime on top of giant alien monster puppet that was used in the scene did appear in Femme Fatales article about her.

Jillian McWhirter admitted that one of the sound boom mike guys actually got aroused while they were filming the scene in which she seems to get turned on while her nude body is caressed and fondled by tentacles. He was so embarrassed he had to leave the set momentarily.

Jillian McWhirter talked at the online film journal Offscreen about the difficulty to shoot the impregnation scene: "We'll start with the physical. The scene of the huge tentacled alien involved the use of the green screen. I had to lie on a small board, about a foot and a half wide, on a crane in front of the green screen. There wasn't a rig on me because they wanted the least amount of things to paint or computerize out, so I had to balance myself from extremely high up, and I did pretty well. At one point I was so high up that it started vibrating, and I said, "bring me down, just bring me down!" Emotionally I would have to say the very ending when the alien turns into its real look, so called monster, and it was just me with the monster, totally nude, and the emotions going on is that I was being raped, and that's an amazing violation. And at the same type there was only one man working the monster, so I had to work some of it also. I was having to push my legs and move back and I had to feel like it was the monster doing it while at the same time I was the one doing it. That was physically and emotionally difficult."

The scene in which Sherry is probed by a little tube coming out of the wall and penetrating her vagina was a Jillian McWhirter's idea. "I told Brian, if I am just laying here and screaming the people will be bored with that. The stories that I have read about alien abduction, they actually turn you on. Which is what they want, since they study your emotions and they want to see the sexual emotions. So I said let me do something before that, let me take that step. And so we did that and then right when I felt it coming in my body that's when it broke and I started screaming."-McWhirter said.

Jillian McWhirter's first nude scenes. She told Femme Fatale magazine, "I'm pretty adamant about if the nudity is right for the story. In this case, it is because -- in all the abductions I read about -- the aliens take your clothes off. So my clothes are off and I'm making love to my husband. It was un- comfortable at first and I was scared, but once I'm down there doing it -- and the acting takes over -- it was okay."
