TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Chuck Norris did this film as a favor to his brother Aaron Norris, who was the director.

Chuck Norris' son Eric Norris plays one of the bikers in the restaurant scene, listed as Biker #5 in the credits.

Shot primarily in Houston, TX. It was the brainchild of James McIngvale--aka "Mattress Mac"--a well-known furniture outlet owner in Houston, in partnership with Chuck Norris and his Kick Drugs out of Schools campaign, McIngvale, produced and invested $8 million in this movie. It's believed his relationship with Norris, who starred in many commercials with "Mac", allowed him to come to Norris with the idea of creating this film. In McIngvale's book, "Always Think Big", he states that going into film and producing was "extremely hard work".

Mako's role in the film is similar to Pat Morita role in "The Karate Kid" films. Mako was considered for the role of Mr. Miyagi in The Karate Kid (1984).

Alan Silvestri who wrote the music for the film, also scored Chuck Norris' hit film, The Delta Force (1986). The music for that film was primarily done on a Synclavier synthesizer, which Silvestri also used to score this film.

Popular Dialogues

"Mr. Lee: No anger. You are here to confront bricks, not that stupid boy."

"Randy Cellini: He started it. Horn: [to Barry] If that's true kid, you have less brains than a woodpecker on an aluminum telephone pole."
