Taking place after the events of 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars,' the series follows Maul, the former Sith Lord, as he endeavors to reconstruct his criminal syndicate on the remote planet of Janix, which has so far avoided the grasp of the Galactic Empire. In his quest for power and revenge, he encounters a disillusioned Jedi Padawan who may become the apprentice he needs to fulfill his dark ambitions.
