Dan Blocker's last feature film.

Dan Blocker (Charley) and Jack Elam (Kittrick) appeared on Bonanza (1959).

Mickey Rooney and Jim Backus also starred together in It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World (1963) and Pete's Dragon (1977).

Twenty years before Cockeyed Cowboys, Jack Elam had an uncredited role as Man at Bar in the Mickey Rooney film Quicksand (1950).

This film became Dan Blocker's final role (besides his long-running role as "Hoss Cartwright" on Bonanza) before his death from complications from gall bladder surgery in May 1972.
