The little man dressed as a pumpkin is J. Audubon Woodlore, the Ranger of Brownstone Park who appeared in a number of shorts in the 1950's, usually alongside Humphrey the Bear and/or Donald Duck.
The "Humphrey Hop" from the 1952 short 'In the Bag' is performed (with new lyrics) at the Harvest Festival.
The opening "Fall" song is similar to the Irving Berlin song "Snow" from the movie 'White Christmas.'
The bear who play the clumsy mouse in the pageant is Humphrey, who appeared in several shorts in the 1950's.
Friend Owl from 'Bambi' makes a cameo appearance.
