Trivia

The film was ready to be released as early as 2009, but was delayed to coincide with Thor (2011).

During the bar fight scene, Loki hands Thor a small hammer to fight with instead of his sword. This foreshadows Thor's later use of the legendary hammer, Mjolnir.

This takes place in the Earth-8096 version of the Marvel Universe, together with Wolverine and the X-Men (2008); The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes (2010) and Hulk Vs. (2009).
