Mar 30 2015 By Ketaki BhojnagarwalaThe Honor 4X is a loaded phablet with an affordable price tag. Here`s a quick review in pictures Budget performance, affordable flagship and now loaded mid range – smartphone categories are evolving faster than garden chameleons. With the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G (review) and the YU Yureka (review), the sub Rs 10,000 price band is no longer the realms of beginner devices. Powerful innards, feature packed software, long lasting batteries and
Read Full ReviewI am using huawei phones since last 3 years various models. nnI ordered this phone via flipkart. Phone features are very nice. nnCamera ,Battery,UI,form factor in every aspect Honor 4x is excellent. nnHowever I got defective piece. When I plug charging cable and start charging small electric current passes so if you touch the phone you will get a shock. Also the charging cable does not fit in the phone properly. ( very hard) nnI raised replacement request to flipkart (within 10 days of purchase) however flipkart is now denying the exchanging faulty device. Now they are asking me to go to service center.nnI think even though phone is excellent flipkart is really giving bad service.......nnI have been regular buyer of different phones, gadgets from flipkart however this is first experience where I am rating flipkart as worst service provider. So far i never faced any issue with their service.nnFlipkart please focus on customer service and fulfill your customer satisfaction. nneither replace me the faulty device or refund my money so that i can buy another phone from latest range.
recently,i bought this phone for my brother and surprisingly it exceeded all my expectations.nnMy brother's requirements were a good camera phone and at least 2Gb Ram at sub 10k, So my obvious options were narrowed down to redmi note 4g, yureka and honor 4x.nPondering about all other options i opted to go with honor 4x and i wasn't disappointed with my choice for following reasons.n1. CAMERA is exceptionally well made, being an user of Moto X(2nd Gen) i can say for sure that this phone has some really good camera capabilities and the fact that 5Mp front camera is much more better than any others existing in market(9/10).n2. The best part of honor phone is its USER INTERFACE, as i mentioned in the subject, UI is majorly inspired by that of Iphone 6, and with few additonal features such as double tap, lockscreen wallpapers, gesture etc, this phone easily is best among its other counterparts(9/10). n3. I opted to go with this phone since it uses a 64 bit SoC, which helps improve device performance on Lollipop OS, thus making it FUTURE PROOF. Although even yureka has 64 bit SoC, lot of complaints were on air regarding unbearable heating issues(7.5/10).nAlso pls note, heating issue is not as exorbitant on this device as found on yureka.n4. On comparison to its counterparts, this device also scores points on regards of BUILD QUALITY/DESIGN. lighter in weight and unibody approach makes this phone way ahead to yureka and redmi which collectively failed to impress in its design (8/10).nnThe SimilaritynThe factors which remains equivalent to all three devices are PERFORMANCE & DISPLAY QUALITY, all 3 devices have very good performance and average looking display,so its difficult to build your choice on these factors(8/10 for performance & 7/10 for latter).nnHere are few cons which i came acrossn1. PRICE is bit high, although honor beats other devices on many aspects, it also beats them on regards of price. My opinion around 8.5k-9.25k would've been a good deal for it, also this drawback is strengthened by the fact that they don't provide any accessories apart from charger (6/10).n2. SOUND quality is below average on speakers, But sound quality is good on headsets, so please think on this before making your choice (6.5/10).nnI wish i could give 4.5/5 stars overall.
