India’s new tech brand Ai+ is expanding beyond handsets into audio and wearables, announcing the NovaPods earbuds and NovaWatch smartwatches alongside plans to launch its next phone, the Pulse 2, on March 2nd in India. The move comes less than a year after the brand entered the market in July 2025 with the low-cost Nova and Pulse phones, and is now trying to build a low-cost ecosystem to retain users.
The new lineup spans multiple price tiers, from Rs 699 to Rs 7,999, and covers everyday use cases such as music, fitness tracking, and child safety. In a market where Xiaomi, Realme, Boat, and Noise already offer tightly priced accessories, Ai+ is entering a space where differentiation often comes down to reliability and ecosystem integration.
The NovaPods range includes three models. The Rs 699 NovaPods Go offer 10 mm drivers, dual microphones, Bluetooth 5.4, and up to 24 hours of total playback with the case, along with IPX4 splash resistance. The Rs 1,999 NovaPods Pro add active noise cancellation, six microphones for calls, dual-device connectivity, and up to 30 hours of playback — features that are common in this price segment.
At Rs 3,999, the NovaPod Clips take a different approach with an open-wear design that allows users to hear their surroundings. This style has gained traction among runners and commuters who want situational awareness without removing earbuds.
In wearables, the Rs 2,499 NovaWatch Active offers a 1.73-inch AMOLED display, Bluetooth calling, heart rate and SpO2 monitoring, sleep tracking, and IP68 resistance. These features place it directly against budget smartwatches from Noise, Boat, and Fire-Boltt, where AMOLED screens and calling support have become standard.
The Rs 2,999 NovaWatch Kids 4G targets parents, offering GPS tracking, geo-fencing, video calls, and an SOS function. Kids’ smartwatches remain a niche but growing category in India as families look for basic connectivity without handing children full smartphones.
The Rs 7,999 Ai+ Wearbuds combine a smartwatch with detachable earbuds built into the frame. Hybrid devices like this have appeared before, but adoption has been limited, often hinging on comfort and battery life rather than novelty. NovaPods and NovaWatch go on sale on Flipkart from February 27th.
Alongside the accessories, Ai+ confirmed that the Pulse 2 smartphone will launch on March 2nd. The device is set to feature a 50MP dual rear camera, an 8MP front camera, and a 6,000mAh battery, which the company claims is housed in the slimmest design in its class. It will run Android 16 with NxtQuantum OS. If priced competitively, the Pulse 2 could appeal to users upgrading from entry-level phones who value battery life over high-end performance.
Ai+ is following a well-established ecosystem strategy. Xiaomi and Realme use accessories to reinforce brand loyalty, while Boat and Noise dominate affordable audio and wearables through aggressive pricing. Ai+ is entering with similar price points, but long-term traction will depend on software stability, service support, and whether the devices work well together.
The NovaPods Go and NovaWatch Active fit first-time buyers or students, while the Kids 4G watch targets parents seeking basic safety features. The Wearbuds hybrid is more experimental and may appeal to early adopters rather than mainstream users.
