Update (August 2025): The CMF Phone 1 by Nothing was launched in India in July 2024 at Rs 15,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB variant and Rs 17,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. To know how the phone performs in real-world usage, you can read our in-depth CMF Phone 1 review.
Original story follows…
Nothing sub-brand CMF (abbrev. for Colour, Material, and Finish) is expected to launch a new smartphone dubbed CMF Phone (1). This could be more affordable and a step down in specifications than the Nothing Phone lineup. At least the details 91mobiles have scooped from an industry source suggest that. We have got its purported colours, key specs, and price. Check them out below:
Per our source, the CMF Phone 1 could be priced at around Rs 12,000 in India. That’s way below Nothing Phone (2a)‘s Rs 23,999 price tag. So, the CMF’s first phone could be way cheaper than the Nothing phones.
The CMF Phone 1 could have a 6.5-inch screen. This size strikes a balance by not being too small or too big. While we don’t have the exact specifics, the back of the phone is said to have a single camera. The phone could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 5G chipset.
It could come with Nothing OS, but full features will not be available. The company could announce 3 years of OS upgrades and 4 years of security updates. CMF could be stowed in a 5000mAh battery with 33W charging support.
Update: Nothing Phone (2a) price updated.
