Infinix Note Edge launched in India, offers 3D curved display and 6,500mAh battery in sleek form factor
Hot on the heels of the XOS 16 announcement earlier this month, Infinix has unveiled the Infinix Note Edge today in India, the brand’s first smartphone release of 2026. While Infinix has often released phones under the ‘Note’ branding, the Infinix Note Edge is the beginning of a new lineup that primarily targets users prioritising a sleek, lightweight design and curved display without compromising battery endurance. Comes in multiple storage and colour options
The Infinix Note Edge will be made available in three different storage and colour variants. Curved edges with a slim frame
The smartphone’s name speaks for itself. With the frame measuring just 7.2mm in thickness, it is sandwiched between a curved rear panel and a 3D curved display. While the Silk Fibre colour shade features a distinct fabric, the Stellar Blue and Lunar Titanium variants get a reflective matte finish on the rear. The phone’s rectangular camera module houses an RGB Halo Lighting alongside the cameras and LED flash to indicate incoming notifications and calls.
Goes heavy on display, battery, and software longevity
Up front, the Infinix Note Edge flaunts a 6.78-inch 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display, which supports up to 120Hz refresh rate, 4,500nits peak brightness, 10-bit colour, and TUV Blue Light Certification-Eye Care for minimal strain on the eyes when using the device in dark or dimly lit rooms. While the device features IP65 dust and water resistance, the display is safeguarded by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
Unlike newly released sub-Rs 30,000 phones like the Realme P4 Power and Tecno Pova Curve 2, the Note Edge gets JBL-certified dual stereo speakers for an immersive audio experience. Furthermore, it is the second smartphone after the Pova Curve 2 to feature the newly released MediaTek Dimensity 7100. Infinix claims the handset achieves over 7,50,000 score on AnTuTu benchmark. While the score is lower than last year’s Dimensity 7400-powered Infinix GT 30, the chipset should suffice for regular usage and medium-level gaming.
Powering the display, processor, and other components is a massive 6,500mAh battery. For quick top-ups, Infinix is bundling a 45W charger in the box. Certain cool charging features include bypass charging that pushes current directly to the motherboard to preserve the battery health, while reverse wired charging will allow users to share a portion of the device’s battery with others.
Lastly, one of the major highlights of the Note Edge is the Android 16-based XOS 16 software, which delivers all-around upgrades across key areas. These include a boost in customisation capabilities, design and interface refinements with the introduction of “Glow Space” design, and a bunch of new AI additions. With a starting price of Rs 21,999, the Infinix Note Edge could turn out to be a strong alternative to the recently released curved display phones, such as the Redmi Note 15 and POCO M8. However, if high-end performance tops your priority list and you’re okay with a heavier build, last year’s OnePlus Nord CE 5 with the Dimensity 8350 could be a better choice by spending a bit more.
