There’s been quite a buzz around the iPhone 18 Pro series, especially for the colour options. Several leaks and renders show a new ‘Dark Cherry’ colour variant for the iPhone 18 Pro, which is most likely going to become a fan favourite this year. A new video shows what the iPhone 18 Pro in Dark Cherry could look like, alongside its other colour options.
iPhone 18 Pro colours
A new concept video shows the iPhone 18 Pro series in four colour options: Dark Cherry, Cloud Blue, Black, and White/Silver. This aligns with previous leaks about Apple releasing a new deep red colour variant for the iPhone 18 Pro lineup. Apple’s Pro iPhones have traditionally launched in muted and understated finishes such as Graphite, Space Black, Natural Titanium, and Desert Titanium. These colours are more subtle and premium and have appealed to buyers looking for a classy aesthetic rather than flashy colours. The rumoured Dark Cherry finish would be slightly bold compared to the other colours, but still not as flashy as the Cosmic Orange it introduced last year.

Design remains the same as the iPhone 17 Pro lineup, with the large camera plateau on the back. The Cloud Blue variant in the video shows a light shade of blue, which is different from the metal frame that leaked recently with a darker finish. Since these are only leaks for now and renders, the final product can still be different. But with so many leaks pointing towards a dark red colour, it could actually make it at launch.
As seen with previous models, the iPhone 18 Pro series is also expected to come with upgrades such as a faster chipset, advanced cameras, and possibly bigger batteries as well. The rumoured A20 Pro chipset is said to deliver performance jumps, especially for on-device AI.
The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, and a new iPhone Ultra model, are said to launch this year in September. Meanwhile, the standard iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e are reportedly being pushed to a spring launch next year as part of Apple’s refreshed release strategy. Those eyeing the iPhone 18 Pro series Dark Cherry colour might want to wait and hold off on buying a new phone. Everyone else should wait and see if the upgrades are significant or not.
