After days of leaks and rumours, iQOO has confirmed that its next mid-ranger, the iQOO Z11 will launch in India on August 20th, expanding its Z11 lineup after the recent debut of the iQOO Z11 Lite. The new model is expected to sit above both the Z11 Lite and Z11x, pushing the Z-series further into the upper mid-range segment with a premium design and a higher expected price tag.
Ahead of the launch, iQOO had already revealed the phone’s design, confirming that the Indian variant will look significantly different from the version sold in China.

iQOO Z11 India launch details
The teasers posted earlier by the brand showcase the iQOO Z11 in Aurora Green and Celestial Blue colour options. According to the company, the former is inspired by the Northern Lights, while the latter draws inspiration from the night sky. Both feature what iQOO calls the Skyline Camera Module, a horizontally aligned, pill-shaped camera island with two large camera rings, a smaller third sensor, and a circular LED ring light.
The module sits on a raised aluminium island with polished chamfered edges, while the phone itself appears to have a slim frame, curved rear panel, and a large curved display with narrow bezels. The horizontal pill design is again catching up in the smartphone market, with more brands moving towards the layouts first popularised by Google Pixel phones. Lately, we’ve seen it on the Vivo X300 FE and the Vivo S2.
Interestingly, the Indian iQOO Z11 differs substantially from its Chinese counterpart, and even the other models in Z11 lineup in the country. The China model features a flat display, flat frame, and a vertically arranged squircle-shaped camera module, whereas the Indian version adopts a curved display, a thinner profile, and a completely redesigned rear camera housing. iQOO seems to be tailoring the device specifically for Indian buyers for it to visually stand out.
iQOO Z11 India variant expected specifications
Previous leaks suggest the Indian iQOO Z11 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset, making it different from the Chinese model, which uses the Dimensity 8500, and the Malaysian variant, which is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. India could become the third market to receive a unique hardware configuration.
The smartphone is also tipped to feature a 1.5K 144Hz OLED display, a battery between 7,000mAh and 8,000mAh with 90W fast charging, a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 32MP selfie camera, IP68 and IP69 ratings, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and up to 12GB RAM.
The iQOO Z11 is expected to launch at around Rs 35,000, considerably higher than the iQOO Z10, which debuted in India at Rs 21,999. At this price, it is likely to compete with devices such as the OnePlus Nord CE 6, Motorola Edge 70 Pro, and the upcoming Redmi Note 17. If the leaked specifications are true, the Z11 could appeal to buyers looking for a performance-focused smartphone with a large battery, premium design, and a high-refresh-rate OLED display. However, with the launch just weeks away, those considering a phone in this price segment may find it worthwhile to wait for the official announcement before making a purchase.
