Marshall has launched its new Milton ANC wireless on-ear headphones in India. The new model brings adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC), support for Hi-Res Audio and a claimed battery life of up to 80 hours on a single charge without ANC. It also introduces Bluetooth 6.0, Soundstage spatial audio and a replaceable battery, features that are still uncommon in this price segment.
The Marshall Milton ANC goes on sale in India from July 2nd for buyers looking for a premium wireless audio experience with a focus on long battery life and Marshall branding.
Marshall Milton ANC headphones key features
The Marshall Milton ANC is equipped with 32 mm dynamic drivers and supports Hi-Res Audio with SBC, AAC, LC3 and LDAC codecs. It also supports Soundstage spatial audio through the Marshall Bluetooth app, allowing users to customise their listening experience.
For connectivity, the headphones support Bluetooth 6.0 with LE Audio, Bluetooth Multipoint for connecting to two devices simultaneously, and a USB Type-C to 3.5 mm wired connection. Marshall has also included support for over-the-air software updates through its companion app.
Battery life is one of the biggest highlights. Marshall claims the headphones can deliver up to 80 hours of playback with ANC turned off or more than 50 hours with ANC enabled. A 15-minute charge is said to provide up to 9.5 hours of playback, while a full charge takes around two hours. The headphones also feature Battery Preservation technology and a user-replaceable battery, which could help extend their lifespan.
The Milton ANC weighs 200 gms and comes with a foldable on-ear design, memory foam ear cushions, textured TPU earcups, powder-coated metal arms and Marshall’s signature brass accents. Users also get a customisable M-button for media controls, volume adjustment and call management, while six microphones handle voice calls and noise cancellation.
Price and India availability
The Marshall Milton ANC is priced at Rs 19,999 and is available in a single Black colour option. It will be sold through Marshall’s official website, major online shopping platforms and leading retail stores across India starting July 2nd. Among its recent competitors are Sony ULT WEAR WH-ULT900N, Beats Solo 4, and Sennheiser Accentum Plus. Out of these, only the Sony ULT WEAR and Sennheiser Accentum Plus are over-ear options, while the other two are on-ear like the Marshall Milton. The latter has the longest battery life but its drivers are smaller compared to the other three. The Milton ANC stands out with its distinctive retro styling, Bluetooth 6.0 support, replaceable battery and long battery life. Buyers who prioritise comfort for extended listening sessions may still want to compare the on-ear design with over-ear alternatives before making a purchase.
The Milton ANC also strengthens Marshall’s premium audio lineup in India, where the brand has largely focused on speakers and wireless earbuds. By combining its signature design with features like adaptive ANC and long battery life, Marshall appears to be targeting buyers who value style and brand identity as much as audio performance in the premium wireless headphone segment.
