Motorola’s Edge 70 Fusion is starting to leak out through early retailer listings in Europe, giving us a decent idea of what the phone looks like and where it fits, even though Motorola hasn’t officially announced it yet. The listings lay out the core specs and pricing, giving us an idea of what to expect.
One Italian retailer briefly listed the Edge 70 Fusion 8GB + 256GB model at EUR 478.90 (around Rs 43,000). It’s also listed to come in black, blue and green colours, though they may have different names. The India price is likely to be lower, but it will remain in the upper mid-range, sitting above Motorola’s G-series.

Since this is the next phone in the Fusion series, comparisons with the Edge 60 Fusion are hard to avoid. The display is one area where that shift shows up. The Edge 70 Fusion is listed with a larger 6.78-inch AMOLED panel and a faster 144Hz refresh rate. That’s a step up from the 120Hz screen on the Edge 60 Fusion and should make everyday scrolling and animations feel smoother. Peak brightness is also listed higher, at up to 5,200 nits, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection is mentioned. The curved screen design seems to be sticking around too.
There’s also a change in the chipset. The Edge 60 Fusion used the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 in India, while the Edge 70 Fusion is listed with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. It’s still a mid-range processor, but one that sits higher in the stack and should offer more predictable performance, especially against Snapdragon-based rivals from Xiaomi, iQOO, and Samsung.
Battery life looks like the biggest upgrade. Retailer information points to a 7,000mAh battery, a noticeable jump from the 5,500mAh unit in the Edge 60 Fusion. Charging speed stays the same at 68W, so the larger battery shouldn’t make the phone any harder to live with day to day. The listings highlight a 50MP main camera and a 32MP front camera, without much detail beyond that.
On the software side, the Edge 70 Fusion is listed to launch with Android 16 out of the box, one version ahead of what the Edge 60 Fusion shipped with. For buyers who care about staying recency, that could be a meaningful plus. Compared to the Edge 60 Fusion, the Edge 70 Fusion may come with a much bigger battery, and a stronger chipset. As always with early retailer listings, details could still change, but an official launch doesn’t look far away.
