Nothing has officially announced the launch date of its upcoming TWS, the Ear (3a). The announcement comes shortly after it was leaked that the Nothing Ear (3a) will launch at the same price as the Ear (a). The upcoming Nothing TWS is also expected to arrive as an affordable variant of the Ear (3), which launched last year.
Nothing Ear (3a) launch date
The Nothing Ear (3a) is scheduled to launch on July 7th, alongside the Nothing Phone (4b). The launch event will take place at 11:00 BST, which would be 3:30 PM IST for viewers in India. The announcement was made on X through Nothing’s official handle, where it shared a teaser confirming four colour options for the Ear (3a): White, Black, Yellow, and Pink. This corroborates a previous leak, revealing the TWS would launch in these colours.

The same leak also suggested that the Nothing Ear (3a) could cost €99 in France, matching the launch price of the Nothing Ear (a) from 2024. This means that the Ear (3a) will be offered as a budget option, like its predecessor. If it does indeed launch at the same price, then it will quite likely please users who have been waiting for an upgrade.
We still don’t know key details about the Nothing Ear (a), but it’s expected to launch as an affordable alternative to the Ear (3). It could follow a similar formula to the original Ear (a), which offered most of the core features but with a few compromises. The Ear (3a) will most likely follow the same route, where it offers active noise cancellation, good sound quality, and a transparent but refined design.
Since the Nothing Ear (3a) is launching in different colours, it gives users more options to choose from. A pink colour variant also suggests that Nothing is maintaining a trend this year with the Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro. If the Ear (3a) does end up launching at the expected price with a premium-like experience, it could become a top choice in the budget segment. So if you’ve been waiting for a budget TWS from Nothing, you should be able to get your hands on it soon.
