Nothing’s first store in India is opening in Bengaluru

The latest teaser revealing the location shows a transparent glass display box housing a model of Bengaluru’s Vidhana Soudha. Nothing’s trademark dragonfly flies from another box containing a model of the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, labelled ‘London’ towards the Bengaluru box. The imagery appears to link Nothing’s UK origins with its next phase in India.

So far, Nothing’s India presence has largely been driven through online platforms and short-term pop-ups. This upcoming flagship store will be the company’s first permanent, standalone retail space in the country. According to the company, the store is meant to give customers a place to experience Nothing’s products first hand — from smartphones to audio devices – in a setting that allows for exploration rather than quick demos.

The move would help Nothing address a key gap in its India playbook. While the brand has built strong online awareness among younger buyers, offline visibility matters for higher-priced devices. A physical store gives potential buyers the chance to pick up the phone, see the transparent design in real life, try features like the Glyph Interface, and get a better sense of build quality and usability before making a decision. This kind of hands-on experience is difficult to replicate through product listings and videos alone, and can be important for first-time Nothing buyers who may still be weighing their options.

The flagship store also brings Nothing closer to competitors such as Apple, Samsung, and Xiaomi, all of which already have a strong offline retail presence. The store gives Nothing a fixed space for launches, walk-in discovery, and direct interaction with customers, rather than relying entirely on retail partners.

This retail push comes alongside a broader effort to deepen Nothing’s roots in India. The company’s sub-brand CMF has been registered as CMF India Private Limited, following earlier confirmation that CMF would move its full smartphone manufacturing operations to India. The local entity will handle manufacturing, operations, and research and development for CMF smartphones and wearables.

For consumers, the Bengaluru flagship store may not immediately change pricing or availability, but it does make it easier to experience Nothing products in person before buying. While the company has not yet shared the exact location or opening date, the announcement signals that India is becoming a long-term focus for Nothing.
