OnePlus 15 gets a host of new changes and features with latest OxygenOS 16 update

Highlights

Since its official announcement and rollout back in October 2025, OnePlus has been constantly refining OxygenOS 16 over the past few months by delivering new features and improvements with every subsequent update. However, the company takes this further with the latest May update for the OnePlus 15. Coming with the version number CPH2745_16.0.7.201(EX01), the update brings the May security patch and carries a brand new way to interact with the lockscreen, a homescreen organiser, revamped visuals, and more.

Diving straight into the changes, the lockscreen gains a major addition in the form of ‘Live Space‘. The feature displays a small capsule towards the bottom and displays all the activities available with Live Alerts, such as running a timer, stopwatch, food delivery status, sports score, and music.

The major change comes in the form of music album art. Just like iOS, tapping on the album art within the media player summons a full-screen music playback control screen. The background blur adapts to the album art’s colours, giving the lockscreen a distinct look with every song.

On the homescreen, pressing and holding on an empty space reveals the ‘Organise’ button, using which users can quickly organise the icons and pages by colour or category. Furthermore, homescreen setups can now be saved for quickly going back to an existing layout. In the app drawer, apps can be found basis their colour with just a tap.
