OnePlus Ace 3 to launch in China this month, new leak suggests

OnePlus Ace 3 is reportedly scheduled to launch on December 17th according to a screenshot of a Chinese retailer website shared on X. Going by this listing, the OnePlus Ace 3 should be made official on December 17th. It was tipped earlier too that this phone will debut later this month but a specific date wasn’t revealed.

This will be the OnePlus Ace 3 debut in China followed by a global launch later. And it will most likely launch as OnePlus 12R in global markets including India. The smartphone has already been spotted on Geekbench with its specifications leaked on multiple occasions.

• Display: OnePlus Ace 3 could feature a 6.74-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and PWM dimming support.
• Processor: It will most likely be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
• RAM and storage: The smartphone is tipped to launch with up to 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
• Cameras: It could house a triple camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor, an 8MP ultrawide OmniVision OV8D10 sensor and a 32MP Sony IMX709 telephoto lens. Up front, the smartphone could feature a 16MP selfie camera.
• Battery, charging: OnePlus Ace 3 is expected to pack a 5,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.
• Software: On the software front, OnePlus Ace 3 will most likely run ColorOS 14 based on Android 14 out-of-the-box.
• Other features: It is also expected to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor, 5G, a USB Type-C port, IP68 rating, Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC support.
