Amid the ongoing cycle of price hikes across almost all smartphones of almost all brands, OPPO’s mid-range options, the OPPO A6, A6 Pro and F33, are the latest to get a revision. The phones were launched in India earlier this year, and this is NOT the first time their prices have been revised, except for the F33. While most variants have been bumped up by Rs 2,000, the OPPO F33 starting price has gone up by Rs 3,000.
The OPPO A6 5G has received a Rs 2,000 increase (via) across all variants. The 4GB + 128GB model now costs Rs 23,999, while the 6GB + 128GB and 6GB + 256GB versions are priced at Rs 25,999 and Rs 27,999, respectively.

The OPPO A6 Pro 5G has also become Rs 2,000 more expensive. The 8GB + 128GB variant now retails for Rs 28,999, while the 8GB + 256GB model costs Rs 31,999.

The price hike comes amid a broader trend in the industry, where brands have been adjusting prices due to rising memory and component costs. Over the past few months, several manufacturers have consistently increased retail prices on multiple occasions to protect margins.
The three smartphones share a common strategy. They focus on battery life, durability and everyday performance rather than flagship-grade camera systems. Both the A6 and A6 Pro feature a 7,000mAh battery, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and 120Hz display, while the F33 steps up to a 120Hz AMOLED panel, Dimensity 6360 Max processor and 80W fast charging.
At launch, the A6 and A6 Pro stood out because of their large batteries and aggressive pricing. After the latest revision, buyers may want to compare them more carefully against alternatives like iQOO Z11x, POCO M8 and the Realme P4 series, some of which offer Full HD+ displays, faster processors or bigger batteries at similar prices.
The F33 remains the strongest proposition of the three thanks to its AMOLED display, large battery, fast charging and premium durability ratings. However, at nearly Rs 40,000 for the top-end model, it now enters a segment where devices such as the OnePlus Nord CE 6, Motorola Edge 70 Pro and Redmi Turbo 5 become serious alternatives. If battery life and durability are your top priorities, these OPPO phones still make sense. However, buyers looking for maximum performance or camera value may want to look around more.
