[Exclusive] OPPO F35 series to launch in India by August-end; Pro to bring 10,000mAh battery under Rs 45,000
OPPO could soon expand its F-series portfolio in India. Industry sources have told 91mobiles that the OPPO F35 series is expected to launch in the country by the end of August, less than five months after the OPPO F33 lineup debuted in April this year.
While the complete lineup is yet to be confirmed, our sources indicate that the OPPO F35 Pro will be one of the models arriving in India. The phone is expected to be a rebranded version of the recently launched OPPO A7 Pro Max, but with a few market-specific changes. The phone will be priced between Rs 40,000 and Rs 45,000, and is expected to compete with the Vivo S2, which launches later this week.

OPPO F35 Pro specifications
According to information shared with us, the OPPO F35 Pro could feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPS OLED flat display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s also tipped to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset paired with UFS 3.1 storage, with 128GB expected to be the base storage variant.
One of the biggest highlights could be its massive 10,000mAh battery, which would make it one of the largest batteries seen on a mainstream smartphone in this price segment. The phone is also expected to measure 8.57 mm in thickness despite the large battery capacity. In India, only the Realme P4 Power and Realme Narzo Power retail with comparable battery capacities, but in lower price segments.
For photography, the phone is tipped to feature a 50MP primary rear camera accompanied by a 2MP secondary sensor. On the front, it could house a 50MP Samsung JN5 autofocus camera with a 100-degree field of view for selfies and video calls. Other expected features include IP66, IP68 and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance, suggesting OPPO may continue to focus on durability alongside battery life.
The predecessors, the OPPO F33 and F33 Pro launched at Rs 31,999 and Rs 37,999, respectively, with features such as a 120Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max chipset, a 7,000mAh battery, 80W SUPERVOOC charging and a 50MP primary camera.
The F35 Pro appears to push battery capacity much further while also moving to a newer Qualcomm chipset and offering a higher-resolution display. At an expected price of Rs 40,000 to Rs 45,000, however, it will enter a more competitive segment where buyers can also consider options such as the Vivo S2 and other premium mid-range smartphones like the OnePlus Nord 6 and Motorola Edge 70 Pro. However, the battery capacity may turn out to be the biggest differentiator and those seeking endurance may want to wait for the official announcement.
