OPPO could be preparing a substantial camera upgrade for its next Ultra flagship. According to tipster Digital Chat Station (via), the Find X10 Ultra is being tested with two 200MP cameras and a dedicated 50MP periscope lens offering 10x optical zoom. The phone is also said to feature a larger, faster display. These specifications are still under evaluation, with a China launch expected in the first half of 2027.
OPPO Find X10 Ultra specifications
The OPPO Find X10 Ultra is reportedly being tested with a 200MP primary camera using a 1/1.12-inch sensor and LOFIC technology. The sensor could be Samsung’s HPA or HPU. LOFIC is designed to preserve detail in bright highlights and shadows, potentially helping the camera handle high-contrast scenes.
The main camera could be joined by a 200MP periscope telephoto camera and a 50MP periscope lens with 10x optical zoom. OPPO is reportedly evaluating Samsung ISOCELL GNB and OmniVision OV51A sensors for the latter, although the final choice hasn’t been made. Production constraints could lead to a smaller sensor instead. The camera system may also support telephoto macro photography.
For context, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra, launched in India at Rs 1,69,999, already has a 200MP Sony primary camera, a 200MP 3x telephoto camera and a 50MP 10x periscope camera. It also features a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 3.2MP monochrome sensor. The reported Find X10 Ultra setup suggests OPPO may retain the multi-camera strategy while upgrading its sensors and image processing.
The new phone could also use a 200MP Samsung HP5 sensor for its ultrawide camera, the same sensor reportedly used for the same lens on the Find X10 Pro Max. A 100MP front camera is also under consideration, marking a significant upgrade from the Find X9 Ultra’s 50MP selfie camera.
Digital Chat Station also claims OPPO is testing a 6.89-inch BOE display with 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The Find X9 Ultra has a smaller 6.82-inch QHD+ LTPO AMOLED panel with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The newer model could offer slightly more screen space, but the panel’s final specifications remain unconfirmed.
Other reported specifications include Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset and an 8,500mAh battery. Neither has been confirmed by OPPO.
Launch and availability
The OPPO Find X10 Ultra is expected to launch in China in the first half of 2027. Pricing and international availability are not known. The Find X9 Ultra was OPPO’s first Ultra flagship to launch globally and in India, so an Indian release for its successor is possible, but not guaranteed. Those considering the Find X9 Ultra now should weigh its established camera hardware against the wait for a successor whose specifications and price are still subject to change.
