Update: The company has announced the OPPO K14x will launch in India on February 10th. The microsite reveals it will have a 6,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging, a 120Hz display supporting up to 1,125 nits brightness.
OPPO has begun teasing a new K-series phone in India, with a dedicated microsite now live on Flipkart. While the company hasn’t officially confirmed the name yet, the microsite URL points to the OPPO K14x. 91mobiles has now exclusively learned from industry sources that OPPO will launch the OPPO K14x in India on February 10th as the successor to last year’s K13x.
So far, OPPO hasn’t shared any specifications for the K14x. What it has revealed is a partial design teaser, which suggests the phone will closely follow the existing K-series design language. From what’s visible, the device appears to have flat sides, a flat back, and a rectangular camera module with rounded corners. The camera layout seems to include two rear sensors along with an LED flash, similar to what OPPO has already used on the K13 and K13 Turbo. Visually, it is a familiar design rather than a major refresh.
Information from an earlier report from 91mobiles Hindi suggest the OPPO K14x could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, which is the same processor used in the K13x that launched in June last year. If this turns out to be accurate, users shouldn’t expect a big jump in performance but better software optimisation and thermal management could offer some improvements. OPPO is also tipped to give upgrades in other areas such as battery size and cameras, though the company hasn’t confirmed any of these details yet.
The OPPO K14x is expected to be priced around Rs 15,000 in India, as per the same report. In that segment, phones from POCO, Redmi, and Lava compete aggressively around large batteries, high refresh rate displays, and all-round specs at similar prices. The K14x is tipped to take on models like the Redmi 15, POCO M7 Plus and Lava Play Ultra.
The OPPO K13 5G launched in April 2025 at Rs 17,999, focussing on battery life and fast charging with a 7,000mAh battery, 80W charging, a 6.6-inch 120Hz LCD display, and a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chip. The more affordable K13x 5G arrived in June at Rs 11,999, pairing an LCD display with the Dimensity 6300 while still offering a big battery and a high refresh rate screen. If the OPPO K14x does launch around Rs 15,000, buyers will be keen to see whether it offers enough upgrades over the K13x to justify the higher price. More details are expected to surface soon.
