OPPO Reno 16c, A6 series prices hiked in India: here’s how much these phones cost now
OPPO has increased the prices of four of its smartphones in India. Starting with the Reno 16c, this phone now starts at Rs 49,999. OPPO’s A6 series has also seen a price hike across the lineup, from the A6 and A6x to the budget A6c 4G smartphone. Price hikes continue to hit the smartphone market as brands grapple with rising memory costs due to huge demand.
OPPO Reno 16c price hike
The Reno 16c launched in India this July alongside the Reno 16. The smartphone was priced at Rs 46,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128 storage, which now costs Rs 49,999. The other two variants are more expensive too, with the 12GB + 256GB variant touching Rs 59,999. At this new price, the Reno 16c is still a good buy for its compact and stylish design, 3.5x telephoto lens, and large 7,000mAh battery. Performance might be a bit underwhelming, as alternatives have faster chipsets and better optimisation.

OPPO A6 5G, A6x 5G price hike
The OPPO A6 is seeing another price hike in India. It now starts at Rs 29,999 for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. With the OPPO A6, you get a 7,000mAh battery, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, and a 120Hz display. While these specs make for a decent package, the base model offers only 4GB of RAM, which might be limiting when it comes to performance, especially if you’re using AI features. So you might want to consider alternatives before making any buying decision.

Although a 4G smartphone, the OPPO A6c stands out for its 7,000mAh battery, which makes it a good choice for those who rely on multi-day usage.
