We at 91mobiles have learned exclusively from insider sources that the company could soon launch the ‘Realme C100 5G‘, a budget-oriented handset, specifically in the Middle East and Africa region. With the Realme C85 and C85 Pro already present, the Realme C100 5G could come as a direct successor to these devices, or as an enhanced version of the Realme C100x.

Realme C100 5G model number, memory and colour options
Given the Realme C100 5G’s model number, the smartphone’s India launch is uncertain. Dubbed MEA RMX5258, the MEA abbreviation in its number likely indicates that the device is made for release in the Middle East and Africa region. Realme phones released in India in the past have generally carried the ‘IN’ suffix in their model numbers, which isn’t the case with the Realme C100 5G.
Furthermore, the standard Realme C100 is already available in Nigeria, so it wouldn’t come as a surprise if the Realme C100x 5G launches in the country and its neighbouring markets. But this isn’t to say that the phone will not land in India, as Realme could be preparing an India-specific variant of the Realme C100 5G behind the scenes, which we do not know of at this point in time.
