Just as we were getting used to seeing 7,000mAh batteries on phones, Realme has decided to push boundaries further by launching a 10,001mAh battery phone in India. It will be the first mainstream smartphone in the country to feature a 10,001mAh battery, a capacity usually seen only in rugged or niche devices. The Realme P4 Power is set to launch in India on January 29th, 2026. The phone will be sold through Flipkart and realme.com.
Realme is calling this the 10,001mAh Titan Battery and positioning the device around extreme endurance. The Realme P4 Power is claimed to deliver around 32.5 hours of video streaming on a single charge and still retain about 86 percent battery after two hours of continuous gaming. The brand also claims the battery is built with advanced health technology to minimise long-term degradation, an important point given the unusually large cell size.
Phones with batteries above 7,000mAh have started to become common in India since 2025, but crossing the 10,000mAh mark is rare outside of bulky adventure phones like the DOOGEE S200X. If Realme manages to keep the weight and thickness practical, the P4 Power could appeal to users who travel frequently, rely heavily on 5G hotspots, or spend long hours on gaming and video streaming.
The Realme P4 Power’s design is another focus area. Realme is introducing what it calls a TransView Design with visible, circuit-inspired patterns on the upper panel and a matte finish on the lower half for better grip. The phone will come in three colours: TransOrange, TransSilver and TransBlue.
On the front, the Realme P4 Power features a 144Hz HyperGlow 4D Curve+ display with a 1.5K resolution. The company says the high refresh rate and curved panel are meant to keep the experience smooth during long gaming or streaming sessions, which fits the phone’s endurance-first positioning. The smartphone is also tipped to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset paired with the HyperVision+ AI chip, suggesting the phone will come with a good number of AI features. It could house a 50MP main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide camera at the back, and a 16MP front camera. The smartphone is also tipped to come with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Realme hasn’t officially confirmed these details yet.
Realme had showcased a 10,000mAh concept device last year, and the P4 Power is the brand’s attempt to bring that idea to mass production. The company claims the battery includes multi-layer safety architecture and intelligent charging controls to maintain stable performance over its lifecycle.
Big batteries have clearly become the trend for mid-range smartphones with a focus on performance and endurance, while still offering a balanced setup across other areas. A genuine two-day or weekend battery could be a strong selling point for the Realme P4 Power, among other things. The Realme P4 Power will make the most sense for students, frequent travellers and mobile gamers who spend long hours away from charging points.
Users who value slim designs or lightweight phones may want to wait for in-hand reviews to check the actual weight and ergonomics. Also, pricing will play a key role in deciding whether the massive battery feels like a practical upgrade or simply a headline feature.
