After a series of leaks, the Realme P4s has officially been confirmed by the brand. It will be the fifth model to join the lineup after the Realme P4, P4 Pro, P4x, P4 Power, and P4 Lite. With another addition to the series, Realme could be aiming to gain more market presence and capture another price segment. The Realme P4s has been teased to feature an 8,000mAh battery, a 1.5K Samsung display, and more. Realme has revealed quite a lot about the upcoming P4s.

Realme P4s India launch date, availability

The Realme P4s is scheduled to launch in India on August 26th at 12 pm. The smartphone will be sold via realme.com and Flipkart. There’s a dedicated microsite for the Realme P4s on Flipkart where the phone’s features and specs have been showcased.

The teasers reveal the Realme P4s’s design and colours. The smartphone can be seen in a metallic turquoise colour and a light golden shade as well. The rear camera design stands out with a square-shaped module and some elements that are similar to the Realme P4 Power.

Realme P4s specifications

Realme P4s is confirmed to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G chipset and HyperVision+ AI Chip. This is the same chipset powering the Realme P4 Power, which means that we can expect similar performance on both phones. The handset is also getting a 7,000mm2 vapour chamber for cooling while doing heavy tasks or extensive gaming.

Its standout feature could be its 8000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. Realme claims up to 3 days of use on a single charge. This is something we can only confirm after reviewing the device, but the battery should be able to deliver multi-day usage. Realme also says the P4s will have 6-year battery health and 120fps BGMI gameplay for 8 hours. Since the Realme P4s’ battery will be one of its highlights, it could compete with phones like the OnePlus Nord CE6, which also has an 8,000mAh battery.

The Realme P4s’ display specs are also one to brag about. It’s a 1.5K display (1272 × 2772 pixels) with up to 6,500 nits of brightness and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display uses Samsung M14 light-emitting material and comes with HDR10+ certification, Netflix HDR support, 26 percent improved luminous efficiency, 50 percent extended screen lifespan, and near-lossless 2K video playback.

More features confirmed for the Realme P4s include  IP69, IP68, and IP66 ratings for dust and water resistance, a 50MP AI camera, and AI Gaming Partner. We should get to know more about the Realme P4s as we get closer to the launch.

Based on everything that’s been revealed so far, the Realme P4s could appeal to buyers who want a mid-range phone with a large battery, good display, and durable build. How Realme prices the phone will ultimately decide where the P4s actually stands. If you currently own a phone with a smaller battery and prioritise screen quality, the P4s might be worth waiting for.
