Update: Realme Pad 3 India launch is confirmed for January 6th. The tablet will be introduced alongside the Realme 16 Pro and Pro+ smartphones. The OEM is yet to share specifications, but confirms the tablet is positioned as “The Smartest Tablet for Students” with a strong focus on AI-driven learning experiences. Moreover, it will be guided by the philosophy “Smart Learning. Less Charging”, emphasising a big battery pack for the Pad 3, which seems to be in line with the leak. The Realme Pad 3 will be available for purchase via Flipkart.in.
Realme has an upcoming launch event scheduled for January 6th, where it is confirmed to unveil its next-generation number series, the Realme 16 Pro. The event could also mark the return of the Realme Pad lineup after more than two years. Ahead of the launch, reliable tipster Abhishek Yadav has revealed key specifications of the tablet, which will be called the Realme Pad 3. The device will succeed the Realme Pad 2 (review), which launched in 2023 and impressed everyone with its 2K 120Hz display and promising battery life, among other highlights.

The Realme Pad 3 could build on this with an 11.6-inch 2.8K LCD display. Beyond the higher resolution, the panel is tipped to reach up to 500 nits of peak brightness, which may not dramatically transform outdoor legibility but should still deliver a noticeable improvement in overall visibility compared with its predecessor.
To support the upgraded display, the Realme Pad 3 could pack a 12,200mAh battery, a notable jump from the 8,360mAh unit found in the Pad 2. That said, only our testing during the Realme Pad 3 review will reveal its real-world endurance. Realme is also tipped to bump fast charging from 33W to 45W, which should help keep top-up times reasonably quick despite the larger battery.
While it remains unclear whether the Realme Pad 3 will arrive in a 5G variant, it is widely tipped to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max SoC. Although the branding differs, variants of this chipset have already appeared in several 5G-capable smartphones launched this year in the sub-Rs 20,000 segment. Performance from the chip has been largely satisfactory for its class, making it interesting to see how it fares for tablet-centric workloads on the Realme Pad 3.

Moving on, the pad may sport an 8MP rear-facing and front-facing cameras. Realme may also launch optional accessories such as a keyboard and a stylus to enhance productivity. While these add-ons are expected to be sold separately, reports suggest that early buyers of the Realme Pad 3 could receive the stylus bundled at no extra cost.
That’s all we know so far! The Realme Pad 3 price in India, design, and other details remain under wraps. While the information is coming from a reliable source, take it with a grain of salt until there is an official announcement. With competition heating up, especially with Redmi already confirming a new tablet launch, the Realme Pad 3 appearing on the horizon seems increasingly plausible. If it follows the pricing strategy of its predecessor, which debuted at ₹19,999, it could turn out to be a tablet well worth waiting for.
