Samsung Galaxy A18 4G debuts with Exynos 1610, triple rear cameras, and a 5,000mAh battery

Samsung has launched a new budget smartphone with 4G connectivity as part of its Galaxy A-series. The new Galaxy A18 4G has been launched in Europe in select markets, including France, Norway, and Sweden. There’s no word on whether Samsung plans to expand the Galaxy A18 4G to more global markets yet. However, a 5G variant of the phone is expected to launch soon.

The Galaxy A18 4G is available in France for €280 (Rs 30,900 approx). The handset comes in a single 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It’s available in Gray, Light Blue, and Black. In Norway and Sweden, the Galaxy A18 4G comes in a 256GB variant as well, but the smartphone isn’t available for purchase yet.

The Galaxy A18 4G features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. On the software front, the Galaxy A18 4G runs Android 17 with One UI 9 out of the box. This is the latest software version available for Samsung phones. The device is also getting 6 OS upgrades and six years of security updates, one of the longest software support periods in this segment.
