  • Pre-reservation is now live across multiple platforms.

Samsung is set to launch its next-generation Galaxy S series phones at the upcoming Unpacked event on February 25th. Ahead of the launch, Samsung has been teasing the Galaxy S26 series, and it now announced pre-reserve offers for the upcoming phones in India. Interested buyers can go ahead and preserve the Galaxy S26 and get a free upgrade to the 512GB variant on purchasing the 256GB variant. Here are the details.

Samsung has revealed that those who pre-reserve the Galaxy S26 smartphone will get a complimentary memory upgrade from 256GB to 512GB. Those interested can pre-reserve the new Galaxy S series for a refundable amount of Rs 999. Pre-reservation is open until February 25th and through Samsung.com, Samsung Exclusive Stores, Amazon.in, Flipkart.com, and leading retail outlets across India. Do note that this is pre-reservation and not pre-booking of the devices.

Those who pre-reserve the Galaxy S26 will also receive benefits worth Rs 2,699 upon purchasing the new devices. This is a benefit that interested buyers should go for, especially if they’ve been eyeing the new Galaxy S26 series. Those planning to upgrade from an S23 or older device may find the performance and camera improvements compelling enough, at least from what has been teased and leaked so far. While this offer might seem better than any discount in the near future, one should still caution against purchasing before official details and reviews.

Samsung’s new flagship lineup is expected to include three phones: the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. Samsung has so far teased new features for its upcoming flagship series. One focuses on privacy, where users can tap on a ‘zero-peeking privacy’ toggle to make the phone’s display unreadable from the sides. This feature can be very helpful in public commutes where you usually find people taking a peek at your phone.

Since no other phone brand offers this privacy feature, it may work in Samsung’s favour, especially since it will help in solving a real-world problem, and not just be a gimmick. It also shows how Samsung is focusing on pushing AI while blending hardware at the same time.

Samsung has also teased the camera upgrades we can expect from the Galaxy S26 series. One area it has stressed is low-light photography, with the background dramatically turning bright. Samsung has also teased the Galaxy S26 series’ zoom capabilities, which the Ultra models are already known for. This capability might be improved upon and expanded to the standard models, too. The Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ are also tipped to get an upgraded 12MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom over the 10MP telephoto on the S25 and S25+, suggesting better details for zoom shots and portraits.

The Galaxy S26 and S26+ are also expected to debut the new 2nm Exynos 2600 chipset, while the Ultra gets the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The Galaxy S26 series may deliver a big boost in performance with these upgrades.

With only a week to go for the Galaxy S26 series launch, we’ll soon get to know the complete details, upgrades, and pricing, if there are any changes.
