Smartphones launching in India next week: Redmi Note 15, Realme 16 Pro series, and more

With the holiday season behind us, it’s back to business. As far as tech is concerned, globally, attention will be firmly fixed on the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026, which kicks off on January 6th (stay tuned to 91mobiles for all the coverage). As for India, it is set to witness a wave of mid-range smartphone launches next week. Established brands such as OPPO, Realme, POCO, and Redmi are all set to unveil the next generation of their popular line-ups. In total, seven smartphones are expected to debut, including the first-ever mini smartphone in the OPPO Reno series.

Redmi Note 15

The Redmi Note 15 is all set to break covers in India on January 6th. This time it will only be the regular variant – the Pro models are expected to break covers in the country later. Nevertheless, the Redmi Note 15 will appeal to the masses with its relatively affordable price tag. The smartphone is confirmed to feature a curved edge design, with a square-shaped camera deco in the middle and just 7.35mm thick. This deco will come with dual sensors, including a 108MP OIS primary unit. The sensor is said to deliver multifocal point portraits, dynamic shots, and support for 4K video recording.

As for the battery, the smartphone will house a 5,520mAh one with support for 45W fast charging. The company claims that the battery can provide up to 1.6 days of usage between charges. The Redmi Note 15 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC, which promises up to 48 months lag free performance. The phone will be IP66 water and dust-resistant certified and sport a 6.77-inch Curved AMOLED display that bears 3,200 nits peak brightness, 120Hz refresh rate, TUV triple eye care certificate, and Hydro Touch 2.0.
