Xiaomi’s upcoming mid-ranger, the Redmi Note 15 5G, has quietly been listed on the website of Belgian carrier Telenet even before it goes official globally. This gives us a good look at how the international model stacks up against the Redmi Note 15 which launched in China in August. The Redmi Note 15 108 MasterPixel Edition is set to launch in India on January 6th, and it’s most likely the same phone that has cropped up in Belgium.
As per the listing, the Redmi Note 15 6GB + 128GB storage variant is priced at EUR 280 (around Rs 25,000 – Rs 26,000). The carrier’s subscribers are eligible for a EUR 30 discount, effectively lowering the entry price. For now, only a single memory configuration is listed.

Coming to the hardware, the international variant of the Note 15 5G houses the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC found in the Chinese model of this smartphone. The device dimensions are 164 x 75.4 x 7.35mm, and its weight is 178 gms, which makes it light and slim for its segment.
Major hardware variations between the Chinese and global model are found in the battery and camera departments. While the Chinese Note 15 features a 5,800mAh battery, the European listing shows a slightly smaller battery with 5,520mAh capacity with support for the same 45W charging. Secondly, the camera configuration is different, with the global handset featuring a 108MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP secondary camera. This is an upgrade from the Chinese handset that features a 50MP primary camera and lacks the ultra-wide lens. The front camera is a 20MP shooter with support for 4K video.
The global variant has a 6.77-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1080 × 2392, accompanied by an in-display fingerprint scanner. This is similar to the China variant’s display. Earlier reports had hinted at a slightly bigger 6.83-inch screen, but that could differ by regions, for all you know. The other specifications revealed by the Telenet listing include IP65 protection against water and dust, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, eSIM, and a nano SIM card slot. The phone is listed in Black and Blue colours, with only the Black images shown on the listing page.
The Note 14 5G focussed on delivering affordable 5G connectivity with a Dimensity 7025-Ultra chipset. The Note 15 builds on that with a newer Snapdragon chipset, a slightly bigger AMOLED display, a higher resolution main camera, increased durability, and a bigger battery, aligning more with changing expectations in the mid-range segment.
The Redmi Note 15 5G could be a beneficial upgrade for buyers coming from the Note 13 or Note 14 series, especially those who prioritise camera quality and long-term usage. A newer Snapdragon chipset, a sharper 108MP main camera, and added durability with an IP65 rating make the Redmi Note 15 better suited for everyday use than the predecessor. However, users primarily concerned about battery life may want to factor in the slightly smaller cell on the global model, and the fact that most brands are coming out with 7,000mAh phone batteries. If Xiaomi manages to price the vanilla Note 15 close to the Rs 15,000 – Rs 20,000 bracket, it could appeal to buyers seeking a balanced mid-range phone without stepping into premium territory.
