Sony expands BRAVIA True RGB lineup in India with new 115-inch flagship TV: price, specifications
Sony India has announced its flagship BRAVIA 9II lineup, led by a new 115-inch (292 cm) model, which is the largest BRAVIA television Sony has ever made. The company says the new TV combines a very large screen with its True RGB backlight technology to offer a more cinematic viewing experience at home. The 115-inch BRAVIA 9II targets users who want a high-end home cinema setup without going for an OLED panel. It sits above the existing 75-inch and 85-inch BRAVIA 9II models. With this launch, Sony’s True RGB range now covers screen sizes from 55 inches (140 cm) to 115 inches.
Sony positions the whole True RGB lineup, which includes BRAVIA 7II and BRAVIA 9II, as an option for users who care about colour accuracy, high brightness and large-screen viewing. This includes people who watch a lot of movies, play games or follow sports on a Home Cinema setup.
The new TVs use Sony’s RGB Backlight Master Drive Pro. This system controls red, green and blue LEDs separately. Sony says this approach delivers a wider colour range, better contrast and smoother transitions between shades compared to its earlier models.

The TVs run Google TV, which brings together movies, shows, apps and games in one interface. Sony also confirmed that Gemini for Google TV will be added through a future software update, allowing more natural, AI‑based interactions on these sets.
Should you buy this?
Sony’s BRAVIA 9II series starts at Rs 8,39,900 (75-inch), while the BRAVIA 7II series starts at Rs 3,59,900 (55-inch) in India. The 115-inch Bravia comes in at a whopping MRP of Rs Rs 45,99,900. If you want a premium, non‑OLED TV with a very large screen and excellent colour accuracy, the new 115-inch BRAVIA 9II is clearly designed for you. It makes the most sense if you watch a lot of HDR movies, sports or console games in a dedicated living room or home theatre and have the money to spare.
If you are more price‑sensitive or do not need a 115‑inch panel, the existing 75‑inch and 85‑inch BRAVIA 9II and 7II models may offer better value. They still provide Sony’s True RGB tuning, Google TV features and good gaming support. For most buyers in India, the choice will depend on how much you prioritise screen size against how much you are willing to spend on a flagship, cinema‑focused TV.
