Now updated for the month of April, the new list has seen yet another fresh batch of movements, although the shift in rankings this month is somewhat less drastic than in many other previous months.
ASUS, after a rather noticeable absence from the charts last month, is back in the fray by topping the chart with its latest generation ROG Phone. Strangely, however, the still-new flagship from Vivo has dropped out of the list entirely — not featuring at any point on this list. As with every month, there are minor score overhauls for all the smartphones on this list, although the overall ranks of the smartphones have remained consistent. ASUS ROG Phone 7 Ultimate

The ASUS ROG Phone 7 Ultimate has already been listed for launch in India, so if you consider yourself to be an avid gamer, you may want to keep your eyes on this. The price point appears to be fairly steep, but you get glitzy features such as a 2-inch OLED display to the back of the phone. This can be customised to show animations or prompts such as charging status or incoming calls.

Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro+

Nubia’s Red Magic 8 Pro+ drops out from the top spot after leading the top 10 Android phones list for the Antutu benchmark browser for two months in a row. However, this takes nothing away from the smartphone, which is an absolute beast in terms of its overall performance. The smartphone features flat-edged sides, pressure triggers on shoulders for shooter games, and even a ventilating fan with RGB LED lighting to the rear.
The 5G phone was launched in December last year, and features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, Qualcomm’s latest flagship. Other key specs include 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, a 6.8-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 50MP triple rear camera with 8K video recording, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless connectivity, and a 5,000mAh battery with 165W fast charging that claims 100 percent power in 14 minutes.

Called the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, the latter has improved the Xiaomi 13 Pro in numerous small ways. But, when it comes to the core performance, the Xiaomi 13 Pro continues to lead on this list, suggesting that performance wise, the Pro variant is at least as good as the Ultra.
