Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 vs Dimensity 9400 AnTuTu breakdown

  • Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 fares lower with a 7,02,689 CPU score compared to the 7,86,574 CPU score of Dimensity 9400.
  • It again falls behind with a 13,30,057 GPU score against the 14,22,243 GPU score of the Dimensity chip.
  • The same is the case with memory and UX scores.
  • Therefore, the overall performance score is only 31,33,570 from the Snapdragon chip while Dimensity 9400 has scored 34,49,366.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 vs Dimensity 9400 Geekbench breakdown

  • Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC with 2,845 score edges out the Dimensity 9400 with 2,776 score in the single-core score.
  • But, Dimensity has the upper hand when it comes to the multi-core score. It has garnered 11,739 points while the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 has managed only 10,628 points.

In any case, both chips showcase a performance leap as per these figures, which is impressive as well as a little hard to believe. So, until we have more solid evidence to corroborate these benchmark scores, we suggest you take them with the proverbial pinch of salt.

Giving us some confidence, however, is tipster DigitalChatStation’s claim that the Tongzi chip (allegedly codename for Snapdragon 8 Gen 4) could run wildly and perhaps clock 4.0GHz speed. This is unprecedented, but as he said, “not a dream” for long. We are expecting the Xiaomi 15 series to launch with this chip in Q3, 2024.
