In a bid to woo consumers, homegrown consumer technology brand Boult Audio has forayed into the home audio space with the launch of two new soundbars. The soundbars are called BassBox X120 and BassBox X180 and have been launched at a starting price of Rs 4,999 in India. While the Boult BassBox X120 is priced in India at Rs 4,999, the BassBox X180 comes at Rs 5,999. These new Boult soundbars are available for purchase via Flipkart and the company’s online store.

The Boult BassBox X120 has two sound drivers and is claimed to produce an audio output of 120 RMS for smaller spaces. Meanwhile, the Boult BassBox X180 offers four sound drivers and is made for larger rooms.
Boult states that both soundbars have a wired subwoofer for deep and immersive bass. They also come equipped with three EQ modes, such as News, Movie, and Music, for better personalisation.
The Boult BassBox soundbards pack the Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology. As per the brand, this system converts analog sound signals into digital format, alters their characteristics, and then converts them back to analog for enhanced playback through the speakers.
These new Boult soundbars offer a 2.1 channel setup with a wired subwoofer, Bluetooth version 5.3, USB, AUX, Optical, and HDMI connectivity options, among others. They can be integrated with mobiles, smart TVs, laptops, gaming consoles, or any other device that features HDMI capabilities and Bluetooth.
