The Motorola Edge 70 Pro takes a different approach, prioritising a thinner and lighter design. At just 6.9mm thick, it’s sleeker in hand and comes in Pantone-inspired finishes such as Lily White, Titan, and Tea. Like the Vivo S2, it also offers IP68 and IP69 protection. Motorola offers a similar 6.8-inch Super HD (2772 x 1272 pixels) curved panel but with a smoother 144Hz refresh rate and an impressive 5,200 nits peak brightness.

While both displays are excellent for multimedia, Motorola’s brighter panel and higher refresh rate give it a slight advantage.

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro is equipped with the significantly more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset, along with faster LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. If gaming or long-term performance is a priority, the Edge 70 Pro is the clear winner.

Battery life is one of the Vivo S2’s biggest strengths. It packs a large 7,050mAh battery, one of the largest in its segment, paired with 44W fast charging. The Motorola Edge 70 Pro, meanwhile, features a smaller 6,500mAh battery but compensates with much faster 90W TurboPower charging.
