Vivo X Fold 6 to feature 200MP primary camera, Zeiss APO super periscope telephoto lens

Vivo has been teasing its upcoming foldable, the X Fold 6, on Weibo, with key details being revealed gradually. Last week, chipset details of the Vivo X Fold 6 were made official, and now the brand has revealed the foldable’s camera details. According to Vivo’s president of product, Huang Tao, the Vivo X Fold 6 is being touted as a true “folding mini-DSLR.” It will house a 200MP camera with a Zeiss lens. Vivo’s flagships are already popular for their DSLR-like hardware on a smartphone, and the same could be achieved by the foldable.

Vivo X Fold 6 camera specs

According to a post on Weibo shared by Huang Tao, the Vivo X Fold 6 will house a 200MP primary camera with a Zeiss APO super periscope telephoto lens. The foldable will also be equipped with the Blueprint Imaging Chip V3+ with support for Blueprint native colours and the Blueprint colour palette. Like the other Vivo flagships, the X Fold 6 will also support the Vivo Zeiss G2 teleconverter (200mm).
