Vivo X100 series chipset details
- The MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC is expected to debut in October, right before the Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit.
- The chipset will be manufactured using the next-gen N4P processor and is said to help with performance efficiency. It will be coupled with Immortalis G720 GPU.
- The SoC will comprise of four Cortex-X4 and four Cortex-A720 to boost performance by 15 percent. The chipset will also aid with lower power consumption by 40 percent.
- In comparison, the A17 Pro chipset features a six-core CPU along with a six-core GPU.
Vivo X100 Series: what we know so far
- The Vivo X100 series could feature an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, curved edges (on the Pro and Pro+), an FHD+ resolution, and a punch-hole cutout.
- The phones are likely to boot Android 14-based Funtouch OS custom skin out of the box and all models could come with 5G network support.
- Vivo X100 and X100 Pro are tipped to get improved camera performance, thanks to an independent V3 ISP.
- The Vivo X100 Pro+ is expected to get a 50MP ultra-wide rear camera and a 200MP telephoto lens. Details regarding other cameras are unknown at the moment.
- The Vivo X100 series is likely to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging.
- Vivo X100 Pro and X100 Pro+ are tipped to come with an IP68 rating, dual stereo speakers, Infrared, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
