We are barely two weeks into 2026, and the Amazon Republic Day Sale 2026 has already kicked off the first major shopping event of the year. The sale brings plenty of deals, but the offers on the new Vivo X300 series specifically caught my eye. These flagship phones hit the market only last month in December 2025, yet they are already seeing discounts of up to Rs 10,000. Check out the details below:
In the Republic Day Sale 2026, Prime members can grab the standard Vivo X300 with a net effective discount of Rs 7,500 if you use an SBI Credit Card EMI transaction offer (Rs 7,250 for a standard transaction).
The deal gets even better for the top-end Vivo X300 Pro, which sees a massive effective price cut of Rs 10,000 on SBI Credit Card EMI transactions and about Rs 9,750 on an Non-EMI transaction. Do note that Amazon is also charging an additional Rs 199 processing fee on these orders during checkout, which raises the cost slightly compared to the prices I’ve added below:
| Model | Launch Price | Discount (SBI Credit Card EMI/Non-EMI) | Net Effective Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vivo X300 | Rs 76,000 | Rs 7,500/Rs 7,250 | Rs 68,498 |
| Vivo X300 Pro | Rs 1,09,999 | Rs 10,000/Rs 9,750 | Rs 99,998 |
To put this in perspective, the Vivo X300 launched at Rs 76,000 and the X300 Pro arrived at Rs 1,09,999 just a month ago. Seeing such a substantial price drop so soon after launch is pretty rare, so this is a good time to buy if you have been eyeing Vivo’s latest camera flagships.
Let’s start with the Vivo X300 (review). I personally think this is one of the most interesting flagships to hit the market recently. It is a compact powerhouse that perfectly captures the shift toward compact phones we saw in mid-2025. Vivo upgraded almost everything compared to its predecessor (Vivo X200), packing in a new Dimensity 9500 chip, a massive 200MP main camera, and a fresh 50MP selfie shooter with Autofocus. The ZEISS-backed camera system takes impressive photos in almost any scenario, while the Dimensity 9500 ensures the phone blazes through tasks with true flagship-grade performance.
They also improved the display while shrinking the frame to a comfortable 6.3 inches and it even carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. With a 6,040mAh battery, you can comfortably get over a day of use even for the most demanding users.
Another surprise is the arrival of OriginOS. This upgrade replaces the dated Funtouch OS with a smoother, more feature-rich experience, fixing one of Vivo’s few weak spots. The brand also promises 5 OS updates along with 7 years of security patches, so you can rest assured about its longevity. In my book, this is the most complete compact flagship of 2025 and will likely stay on top for most of 2026. You can check out my detailed review to learn more in-depth about this device.
While the X300 targets users who want a smaller phone, the Vivo X300 Pro is built for people who want the best possible camera. Vivo kept what worked from previous models and fixed the small complaints. The main and telephoto cameras take excellent photos, the ultrawide sensor is better than before, and the selfie camera finally supports Autofocus. You can also buy an optional ZEISS telephoto lens kit, which costs less than similar accessories from other brands and makes the phone feel even more like a real camera.
The phone itself is a delight to use. Vivo switched to a flat design that is easier to grip, and the huge 6,510mAh battery lasts more than a day and a half for most users. It uses the powerful Dimensity 9500 processor, and the new OriginOS software is much cleaner and smoother than the older Funtouch OS. It is a bit heavy, and it can get warm during long gaming sessions, but if photography is your main priority, the X300 Pro is easily one of the best choices you can make right now.
