Both phones will run on MediaTek Dimensity platforms, with the 17T built around the Dimensity 8500‑Ultra and the 17T Pro using the flagship Dimensity 9500 SoC. That gives the 17T Pro a clear advantage in raw performance and gaming, while the standard 17T sticks to a more balanced, power‑efficient chip that targets speedy everyday usage and efficiency. Display-wise, the 17T is likely to carry a 6.59‑inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the 17T Pro ups the ante with a 6.83‑inch FHD+ AMOLED panel and 144Hz.
According to an X post by tipster Sudhanshu, which showcases the marketing content for both phones, the 17T is likely to pack a 6,500mAh battery with 67W wired charging, while the 17T Pro is rumoured to step up to a 7,000mAh cell supported by 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. That constitutes a good combination for heavy users and frequent travellers.
The cameras are rumoured to follow a three-tier split based on a report by GSMarena: both models get a 50MP main camera, though the 17T is rumoured to use a Light Fusion 800 main sensor versus the Pro’s Light Fusion 950. The rest of the lenses include a 50MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and a 12MP ultrawide, giving both phones a versatile triple-camera setup.
What are the likely prices?
Pricing leaks suggest that the 17T 12GB+256GB could cost €749 (approx. Rs 84,000) and the 17T Pro 12GB+512GB at €999 (approx. Rs 1.12Lakh), which puts them firmly in the flagship price bracket. On paper, the 17T looks to be the safer, more practical pick for buyers who want strong battery life, a capable camera setup and a relatively lower price.
The 17T Pro, in contrast, is the play for enthusiasts who want a larger, higher‑refresh rate screen, a more powerful chip, and a great battery. Xiaomi is likely to keep the pricing comparatively lower in India, especially since its flagship Xiaomi 17 sits at Rs 90,000, so from our estimations the 17T could come around Rs 60,000 competing with the likes of the Vivo X200T and Motorola Signature.
