Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi QLED TV X Pro 75 in India, its largest QLED television so far, pushing deeper into the big-screen segment. Priced at Rs 69,999, with an introductory bank discount bringing the effective price down to Rs 64,999, the 75-inch model is aimed at buyers who want a cinema-sized screen at home without stepping into premium TV pricing.

The 75-inch panel offers 4K resolution with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support, aimed at improving contrast and colour across OTT content and live broadcasts. Filmmaker Mode is included for viewers who prefer movies without motion smoothing or altered colours. The near bezel-less design keeps the focus on the screen and reflects current large-format TV trends.

Sports and fast-moving content are a focus area. Xiaomi includes DLG 120Hz support and MEMC to reduce blur during live cricket matches or racing scenes. Auto Low Latency Mode is designed to improve responsiveness when a gaming console is connected. This is not a native 120Hz panel, which is worth noting for buyers comparing it with higher-end gaming TVs from Samsung or Sony.

The TV uses a 34W speaker system with Dolby Audio and DTS:X support. This should be adequate for everyday viewing, though buyers investing in a screen of this size may still consider adding a soundbar. Dolby Atmos passthrough via eARC allows users to expand their audio setup later.

On the software side, Xiaomi’s PatchWall interface aggregates OTT apps, live TV channels through Xiaomi TV+, universal search, and built-in Google Assistant. Support for AirPlay 2, Google Cast, and Miracast makes it easier to stream content from phones and laptops. Connectivity includes three HDMI ports (one with eARC), two USB ports, Ethernet, optical audio out, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. A quad-core A55 processor with 32GB storage handles apps and multitasking.

Large-screen TVs are becoming more common in India as panel costs fall and streaming services continue to grow. Xiaomi has built its TV business around this shift, offering bigger displays at aggressive prices. With the X Pro 75, it competes directly with value-focussed brands such as TCL, Hisense, Vu, Philips, and retail labels like Croma, all of which sell 75-inch QLED or large LED TVs in similar price bands during promotions.

At its effective launch price, the Xiaomi QLED TV X Pro 75 stands out mainly for its size and feature set. Buyers who prioritise screen size and smart features over peak brightness or high-end gaming performance may find it a strong value option. The TV goes on sale from February 27th, with pre-booking customers eligible for a four-year warranty offer.
