Xiaomi announces Amazon and Snapdeal as new online retail partners, will continue to sell via Flipkart

“Xiaomi’s products will now be available via Flipkart, Amazon, Snapdeal, The Mobile Store, and Airtel stores in India”

Now in a surprising move, on its fifth birthday, the brand has ended its exclusive partnership with Flipkart for sales of its devices online, and has appointed Amazon and Snapdeal its new sales partners.

Starting tomorrow, the vendor’s products will be available on all three major e-commerce portals. Ever since its debut in India in July last year, Xiaomi has been experimenting with several models to sell its devices in the country. In January, the brand partnered with Airtel to sell the Redmi Note 4G (review) in Airtel stores in select cities. After that, the vendor started selling refurbished and unboxed devices on Overcart. And recently it partnered with The Mobile Store to sell its phones offline in the Delhi NCR region.

A few days ago, the company also started selling accessories on its website in India. Xiaomi is now looking to set up its own full-fledged online store on Mi.com to sell a range of products including Mi TVs and others.
