The Karbonn ST52 is an affordable tablet which can also be used as a smartphone thanks to dual SIM slots. It comes for an affordable price which justifies the absence of sound RAM and an updated OS.
Affordable tablet with calling functionality
Display, Hardware and OS

Due to its large screen, the Karbonn ST52 may appear to be a tablet at first sight but it's actually a phone. It features a 7-inch LCD multi touch display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels (WVGA) and a pixel density of 133ppi.

Doing the duty under the hood is a dual-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and working in tandem with a paltry 512MB RAM. It ships with dated Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.

Camera and Storage

The Karbonn ST52 features a 2MP camera supporting digital zoom at the back along with a 0.3MP snapper on the front. It has 4GB of storage space onboard which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD slot.

Battery and Connectivity

To ensure an uninterrupted service for a fair period of time, the Karbonn ST52 houses a Li-ion battery of 2,500mAh. The networking and connectivity package included in the dual SIM gadget comprises of Mobile hotspot, Wi-Fi, GPRS/EDGE, USB port, GPS and Bluetooth.
