A good phone at the price range & vis competition (Samsung Grand, HTC unfortunately has no product to compete here). LG has vintage in mobile phone making. Have moved to this phone after using HTC explorer.n5.5 inch Screen is sweet, bright and sharp at indoor viewing, however, in direct sunlight visibility is weak. Compared to Grand its definately notch above. Reading is no eye strain nSpeed is quite reasonable at this price and in comparative to my past experience. nHave got 3G activated on the phone, however, the reception is weak. Dont knw its the phone or network. nCamera is good and HD recording is satisfying nThe capacitive buttons are not backlit, which is disapointing as it should be a basic feature. nBattery life is excellent. You can run it for whole day easy with above moderate use. nBack cover is free from LG which gives it a good grip (delivery box has it seperately). weight is also light so easy to pocketnSpeaker and voice clearity is good. Memo option is good with stylus for quick notesnHave yet not played or downloaded any games on this. No inbuilt games. nIn my opinion, at this price for good screen viewing, battery, storage and random clicks, this is a good phone. It looks good in hand :) nn6 MONTHS ON....LG HAS BEEN A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!nThe phone has a problem where touch is being activated on the lower part of the screen on auto mode..meaning idle and there is touch activity in screen so options are getting clicked on its own. Dont know hardware or software issue. Within 6 Months after paying 17K you get this from LG. A phone cant work hassle free for 6 months! Now have to go through all the pain of service center, waste days/money/efforts and dont know what...lets see :/
People of India, you are here to buy a mobile or just about to buy a mobile in range of 17k-20k this review is for you. This mobile has a good screen, audio output but that is is. It has very very low configuration, it will not be able to run Android properly, leave alone smoothly. This matters alot when you want to buy an Andorid phone. Those who buy this or have used this mobile will know what i am trying to convey. Though LG has made 2 excellent phones this year: LG Optimus G Pro E988 and LG G2 which are excellent performer and true value for money but this mobile G pro lite is not worth your money. I am not saying that if the price of this cell was 11k or something then it would be good value, NO. It is just not thoughtful phone. It will not be able to provide basic user needs, will lag very much. LG released it just to earn huge profit! Believe me i know quite a bit about hardware and software and this mobile will not cost anything above 7k-8k to manufacture. nIf you want good mobile under 20k with large screen then you might want to considern1: Lenovo P780 which is very good device with battery size larger than those of in range of 40k and above. n2: Sony xperia L : Very good performance total bang for moneyn3:Sony C : very well built, big screen, very good battery performancen4: Xperia SP: Simply Mind blowing performance but average camera and battery life.n5: Nokia 625: Very good and large display, very good battery performance but buy this only if you can live with limited apps that Window8 store have. This phone will provide very fluidic performance coz Windows 8 is very light OSnnI donot recommend Micromax, Lava, Karbonn because of very poor after sale service and low built quality on most of thier mobiles. nMake a great decision!
